Mahawila Export Pvt Ltd has been established with a concept of make difference to Homeless by taking business to the next level.
Our Head office in the UK and the plantation and the factory based in Southern Province of Sri Lanka. Mahawila is the economically poorest rural village where the Cinnamon farm is situated.
Our Vision is not to make revenue but to acquire the stability employment to provide for the poor and homeless.
The story behind our brand is; change lives of that homeless people had spent decades on the street.
Providing grocery items, coins, used cloths ect… is a great thing. But don’t they deserve much more, such as roof over their head, clean cloths, hot food, access to medical facility. Recurring income will be the key to all facilities.
Unemployment and lack of skills may keep people in poverty and can lead to long-term hardship. We have set up our strategy to provide job opportunities those who are unable to find financial support. We can support parents to care for their kids and stay in work.
This is a family business for decades by cultivating and planting Cinnamon and spices on our own farm and selling in the local market. The company manufacture Ceylon Cinnamon Sticks, Cinnamon Powder, Cinnamon Oil, Black Pepper, Cardamom and Cloves.
In 30 years our family is engaged in indirect export and local market. Our products are handmade which does not require any education or previous experience. All we need is to provide them with the necessary skill training and I know they can do it. Their effort, hard work and emotions are priceless.
